Tears of an angel
Slid slowly down her face

The origins of emotion
Back to me they have traced

I have made many young mistakes
But no failure can compare

To the beautiful heaven sent angel
I left alone and in despair

I'm an enemy to the world
For robbing them of her smile

If the planets only had eyes
They would line up, single file

If the sun could feel her touch
It would shine twice as bright

And the moon and stars would dance
At such a marvelous sight

But alas the sun shines low
And the moon and stars sit still

Because they drown in the tears of an angel
And heaven sits in wait for the kill
